frequently asked questions

  • How can I purchase flowers?
Flowers can be purchased at our roadside stand, the Rumer Blooms Flower Cart. Our growing season is approximately mid-June to late September. Please see the Flower Cart page for more info. At certain times of the year, you can also purchase a bouquet subscription which will get you a series of weekly bouquets during our growing season. See our Bouquet Subscriptions page for more info. When available, subscriptions can be purchased in our Store.
  • How do I pay for flowers?
When purchasing flowers at the flower cart, you can place cash in the cash box located on the side of the flower cart (exact change only) or pay via Venmo. Venmo information will be available at the cart.
  • Will there be someone there to help me when I purchase flowers at the flower cart?
Most of the time, the Rumer Blooms Flower Cart will be self-serve. You can stop by, choose your favorite bouquet, pay via cash (put in the cash box) or Venmo and be on your way! There may be times where the flower cart is more of a full-service situation, and this will usually be noted on our social media accounts. Either way, we thank you for supporting our small flower farm, and we hope you love the flowers you get from us!
  • Do you take special orders?
We do! Because we have full-time jobs outside of the flower farm, we ask that you would give 48-hours notice for special orders so we can have enough time to harvest the flowers and prepare your bouquet. Please email us at hello@rumerblooms.com to inquire about special orders.
  • Can we purchase bulk flowers from you?
We will have DIY bulk flower buckets available for purchase this summer. These are perfect for those who would like to do their own flowers for events - baby or bridal showers, birthday parties, etc. You can visit our Store for more information. The buckets will show as out of stock, because we'd like to correspond with you via email prior to ordering to be sure we have what you are looking for and when. Please reach out to us! Email hello@rumerblooms.com.
  • Do you deliver?
At this time, we only offer local farm pick-up for subscription bouquets and/or special orders.
  • I purchased a 2025 bouquet subscription. When will I be notified of the pick-up dates?
2025 bouquet subscriptions are expected to start in late June / early July. At this time, we expect the subscriptions to start on either June 26 or July 10. However, the exact start date will depend on weather conditions and bloom time and will be confirmed with subscribers about two weeks prior to the planned start date.
  • What happens if I am out of town and cannot pick up my bi-weekly bouquet?
If you will be unavailable on a particular pick-up day, we encourage you to gift that week's bouquet to a loved one and have them pick it up on your behalf. If you cannot send a delegate, please let us know and we would be happy to donate your bouquet to a local hospital or nursing home. Sorry, no refunds for missed weeks.
  • How long can I expect my flowers to last?
We've been hearing from many people that most flowers look beautiful for at least a week, some longer than that...which we love to hear!
  • Can I specify which flowers and colors I'd like in my subscription bouquet?
Subscription bouquets will be farmer's choice based on what is most beautiful in the field that week. We always reserve the best flowers of the week for subscriber bouquets.
  • Do you do weddings?
We do not do weddings, however, what we do offer are bulk buckets of flowers for those who are interested in doing their own wedding flowers (bouquets, table decorations, etc.). Bulk buckets of flowers are available approximately July through September. Please contact us at hello@rumerblooms.com if you have any questions or would like to reserve your bucket.
  • What type of flowers do you have for wedding use?
While we are not a full-service wedding provider, we do offer bulk buckets of flowers for DIY wedding flowers from approximately July to September. Different flowers will be available at different times of the year. At the beginning of the season, we will likely have sunflowers, zinnias, feverfew, and snapdragons. As we get further into summer, we will have additional flowers such as celosia, gomphrena, and lisianthus. The color palette of our field flowers fall mostly into the pink, lavender, yellow, and white color families. We usually grow very little orange, red, or dark purple.
